Koldo is a self-initiated project where I explored the joy of designing without a brief—just for the fun of it. Every summer, I love pickling vegetables from the garden in Meñaka, and last year I decided to create a brand around it. The goal? A visual identity that felt as homemade, generous, and full of personality as the pickles themselves.
At the heart of the identity is Koldo—illustrated as the friendly face behind the produce. He’s the one working the land and making the magic happen, so this project also became a small tribute to him. Using bold colors, playful typography, and a flexible system of patterns, I developed a vibrant look that brings warmth, craft, and storytelling into every jar.
OUTCOME
The result is a cheerful and eye-catching brand that celebrates tradition, friendship, and creativity—turning a humble hobby into a playful piece of visual storytelling.
